1. Avoid paradoxes. Establish a clear continuity to avoid confusion.
2. Don't retcon, metagame, powerplay, or godmod. Drama is encouraged.
3. Pokémon don't repeat their own names. They growl, bark, meow, squawk, squeak, or whatever you think makes sense. In the same vein, they can't be magically understood. Think of it like talking to your dog or cat.
4. All characters must be original. You have to make up your own trainer.
5. Legendary and mythical Pokémon are, you guessed it, legends and myths. No one can be sure they exist outside of folklore. You won't see one in the wild, let alone own one. All legendary and mythical Pokémon are one of a kind.
6. You can have three characters to start. Additional character slots must be purchased at the school commissary.
7. All students start enrollment at age 13. Keep in mind that you can only be enrolled into Lawicke through random lottery. Being selected is a great privilege!
8. Students do not arrive with their own Pokémon. Your starter Pokémon is picked in a ceremony called the Choosing.
